buy a net to stop flies, mosquitoes etc. Speak to a chemist re repellent for babies.
for the plane, if you are not breastfeeding, ensure you have enough formula, water, nappies etc. Pack loads you could face delays.

I'd have thought baby repellant would be more effective on babies.
I've heard that Avon has a Skin-So-Soft product that repels bugs and it should be ok to use on a baby.
I got some baby repellent from the organic food store. It's DEET free which I like and it works well. its expensive though. I would bring on the plane a pacifier if you use one so her ears dont hurt her, lots of toys, and well shes not old enough for finger foods, but enough milk either pumped or formula. I heard the sucking from the bottles helps their ears. Good luck to ya
