Anyone know of a good mosquito repellent that works with Latin American mosquitos?

A lot of the stuff they sell in the US does not seem to be strong enough for those little pests.Anyone know of a good mosquito repellent that works with Latin American mosquitos?
Take vitamin B (you will find things like ';Tiamina'; at the pharmacy in Latin America) and the mosquitoes will stay away.





Go easy on it because it keeps you awake, but it is still safe cause it is just a vitamin. Mosquitoes don't like the smell, so they won't come near you.


If you sweat a lot, you will smell it for yourself, not too bad, just a bit strong.





If you want something to spray on, try OFF Deep Forest, but you have to carry it around and spary all the time, and it is better if you do not spray it when going into the sun.Anyone know of a good mosquito repellent that works with Latin American mosquitos?
you have to get the lotion off then add the spray of off to work (i only am sure about this for Dominican republic)

i didn't know mosquitos had nationalities? i thought a mosquito was a mosquito.
Citronella is pretty good.
Have you been anywhere in Latin America? I have. The same ingredient, DEET, works on their mosquitoes too.

Skin so Soft by Avon is very good.
Use repellents with lots of DEET, do not eat bananas, don't wear blue clothes and take vitamin B.
believe it or not but bounce fabric soften sheets work great... rub them on yourself then put it in your pocket. they also help to keep the bee's away.
Have you tried the new Off brand lantern? It comes with a little blue square and a tea light. It has really worked on our patio.

I've traveled to El Salvador since I was 2, but Off Deep Forest seems to work fine. Well I never really had a problem with the mosquitoes, but my sister and my brother had. They also sell mosquito repellents in the stores there. I used to have a mosquito netting over my bed to keep out the mosquitoes.
Try mixing Off with pepper spray.

I am Jack's Rage. Damn lattin bugs. Try not eating so much suger and only drink water (no coffee), but not the local water. Eat some raw galic if you aren't a wussy. The only sure way is to get rid of your blood. That's all they want. It's not your lucky charms.
Bullfrog is the best. I have done extensive travel, both in Latin America and Africa. Nothing beats Bullfrog.
