Is there a natural repellent for Carpenter Bees?

I am looking for a natural repellent like a spray to keep carpenter bees away from my terrace. Is there a spray or


other product that is effective and environmentally safe.Is there a natural repellent for Carpenter Bees?
Im not sure about a ';natural repellent'; but, what I did was paint the area i was having issues with them light blue.... It's an old trick i was told about when i has having issues with carpenter bees and other stinging bees.. works like a champ. the only other thing i could think of if painting is out of the question would be to get a pump sprayer and fill it with a very strong liquid crab/shrimp/crawfish boil and spray the area your having issues with. maybe the spice would keep then away. good luck and be careful.
