Anybody know how to make natural bug repellent?

Does anybody know how to make a natural mosquito repellent out of regular household stuff? Like with herbs etc. Maybe lavender oil?

Any ideas?

Thanks!Anybody know how to make natural bug repellent?
Essential oil insect repellent:

4 drops eucalyptus essential oil

4 drops lavender essential oil

4 drops rosemary essential oil

4 drops tea tree essential oil

Mix well together and add to 2 ounces of witch hazel and 8 ounces of water put into a spray bottle and shake well before each use

OR

1/3 cup olive oil or distilled water

10 drops peppermint essential oil

10 drops eucalyptus essential oil

10 drops citronella essential oil

mix well together

The second one is much stronger than the first and the scent is stronger also, I wouldn't recommend it for children, use the first one for children.Anybody know how to make natural bug repellent?

All you need to do is use Vodka in a spray bottle. It really works and doesn't stain clothes, is not poison like store bought repellents and doesn't smell bad.

What's more natural than wood? Set it on fire - no more mosquitoes. I'm teasing but not really. The indians ran mosquitoes off with campfire smoke for thousands of years before we had DEET.

Also eat a couple garlic cloves a day...mosquitoes don't like garlic.

Also the best easy way to replel bugs is with a dryer sheet they hate them so if you ruyb it on your self and clothes they automaticlaly stay away plus its not harmful to you or environment!

The easiest and best mosquito repellent I found is Listerine mouthwash. Just pure some into a spray bottle and apply.

You can also spray it around your campsite when your camping and it keeps them away for hours!
bounce dryer sheets.. but they work more for a bee repellent.
I just slosh some tee tree oil all over my body, although the other day I noticed when I put it on my skin started to like...steam? Other than that it works wonderful.
