Is it ok to wear bug repellent around my two month old puppy?

On the can if it says Keep Away from Pets and Children, then don't wear it.Is it ok to wear bug repellent around my two month old puppy?
It should be ok as long as pup doesn't lick it. You can make bug spray out of Dawn dishwashing liquid, distilled water and lavender oil that is safe for you, your pets and children... that is, if you feel like making it. If not, just be careful your pup doesn't taste of your bug repellent. :)Is it ok to wear bug repellent around my two month old puppy?
I wouldnt because it might seriously mess up his sense of smell because most bug spray is usually strong.
You should only be wearing non toxic big repellent anyways.
ya i guess just dont let the dog lick you.. that would be the smartest thing to do... not calling you dumb or anything though so dont get the wrong idea
No.
no its not good! dont do it. the dog might lick you and get sick from the poison in it.
as longs as its non toxic, your puppy might lick it off you
just wear it from you KNEES UP

that way he cant get any in his mouth if he licks you.

Can you wear sunscreen under insect repellent?

I bought the OFF! smooth and dry insect repellent because im going on vacation to a place where there can be some mosquitoes and i was wondering can i wear sunscreen before or after applying the insect repellent? also does anyone know if those things clog pores???Can you wear sunscreen under insect repellent?
I'm not sure whether you can mix the 2 products or not, but I do know you can buy a product that is a combination sunscreen/insect repellent. I think that's made by OFF! also. I've never noticed a problem with pores clogging with any kind of sunscreen or insect repellent. Can you wear sunscreen under insect repellent?

  • Does anyone know how to concoct a homemade flea killer/repellent for my couch?

I think it's infested.Does anyone know how to concoct a homemade flea killer/repellent for my couch?
they sell products made specifically for fleas but boric acid works tooDoes anyone know how to concoct a homemade flea killer/repellent for my couch?
I don't know of any homemade stuff for the couch. But a few drops of dawn dish liquid in your dogs bath kills fleas.

But they do sell stuff at walmart made for carpets, and stuff like that. I use it on my couch, chairs, floors, and my mattress.
Sorry but toss it. It can infest your whole house and then you'll have to get an exterminator in but you may have to already if you think there are fleas in the couch.

Does someone know where can i find sunbeam ultrasonic mosquito repellent 6 pack in canadian stores?

sporting goods storeDoes someone know where can i find sunbeam ultrasonic mosquito repellent 6 pack in canadian stores?
They don't work.....I have seen experiments on TV and they do nothing to repel mosquito's. The Bug zappers don't work on mosquitoes either. The only gizzmo that works is the Mosquito Magnet and they take a few weeks to reduce the population.I bought two of them last spring and we really saw a reduction in the mosquito population

When you buy uggs do they come with the water repellent spray??

thankss! =)When you buy uggs do they come with the water repellent spray??
no , uggs do not come with water repellant spray...I love uggs.

you can get the spray cheapest in a wal mart/target/kmart type store. go to the camping / outdoor area and look or ask for silicone waterproofing spray. When you buy uggs do they come with the water repellent spray??
for others that thought you ment eggs im pretty sure you mean sheep skin ugg boots.

i've never thought about waterprofing them before but it's a good idea!
You mean eggs? Most eggs are coated with vegetable oil. This seals the shell and improves shelflife. Eggs naturally have a coting but it is washed off in the cleaning process.

Is there any mosquito repellent other than Deet that really works?

I've heard that Vinegar may work (haven't tried it yet), but want to know if anyone out there has found something that works..Is there any mosquito repellent other than Deet that really works?
First, DEET is perfectly safe if you use it as directed - it's also incredibly effective. Most of the home remedies I see on the web are useless. If you want something without deet that will work almost as well try finding a product containing picaridin. Is there any mosquito repellent other than Deet that really works?
try citrenola (or however its spelled)

i use it all the time, however u must buy it, its the smell of it that repells mosquitos and varios other insects
    You can also try '; OFF';

    It's pretty efective.

    Hope it helps.

Does ultra sonic mouse repellent really work?

we recently moved in to a new home and have a mouse problem, apparently more than 1 mouse. Does any one know if this high pitched gadget really work, and would we need more than 1 to control the problem which is currently covering the whole house upstairs and down?Does ultra sonic mouse repellent really work?
    No, they do not work.

We have a mouse problem in our cottage up North, and the mice ignored the gadgets all together. We went back to mouse traps with peanut butter bait.

In fact, the Federal Trade Commission is considering banning advertisements for those gadgets.

Don't waste your money on them.Does ultra sonic mouse repellent really work?
i have them and they do not work.. it seems to draw them... it's weird!! i put peanut butter on a piece of bread into one of those traps that make the mouse go into and once he goes in.. he's there for good - until you take him out and let him out!!!

so, i wouldn't invest in the ultra sonic mouse repellent... there are other ways to get rid of them.

    good luck!
    It's another rip off!
