Any suggestions for NATURAL INSECT REPELLENT?

We're going camping with a baby and toddler. We have always rubbed NEEM SOAP on our adult skin and the mosquitoes stayed away from us, even in tropical countries. Is this safe to rub on our kids? We'll be camping on Lake Huron in Canada with lots of mosquitoes and wasps.Any suggestions for NATURAL INSECT REPELLENT?
I used to carry long sleeved loose cotton shirts and pants for the kids and apply a spray to the clothing with cedar, lemongrass citronella and thyme that was diluted in water.Any suggestions for NATURAL INSECT REPELLENT?
Try using pure Lemongrass essential oil or pure Citronella essential oil. I suggest you diffuse 3 drops with water in a burner or electrical diffuser if you want to use it in the bedroom where your kid is. The oils are child-friendly so there won't be any harm caused. If you like to apply oil onto your baby as a repellent, dillute 3 drops of either oils mentioned with 5ml of jojoba carrier oil and massage gently on areas that he/she won't suck or lick.
Surprisingly, a bottle of Listerine (mouth wash), mixed in with a gallon of water. Pour into a spray bottle. You can spray grass, trees, flowers, clothes etc. It keeps mosquitoes away for hours. Have fun on your camping trip.
what ever you do, dont eat bananas... it attracts them like crazy
