How can I stop cats from climbing on top of my black car? Can cat repellent do the job?

Get yourself a humane trap. About $20.00. We have the same problem and we then bring them to our local adoption center.


We have about 30 strays in our area and one neighbor keeps on feeding them and then they come over and scratch the crap out of our cars.


My brother, lol, put old time mouse traps all over his car once and believe it or not, they stepped all around the traps.


After getting more, they finally got spooked by it and now they don't go near the car.How can I stop cats from climbing on top of my black car? Can cat repellent do the job?
they dont like things that smell like citrus so maybe putting that sort of smell around it.





Or purchase a car tarp or park in a garage.

Ally is right about the citrus smell. Give that a try.
No. I'm afraid there's not much you can do unless you can park it in a garage. Or put a cover on it. I just want to know why is it being a ';black'; car significant?
U can honk the horn to scare the crap out of them. I do that with my own cats as well as hit the hood of my car. Cat's like warm places and if one in in the engine not only is that a painful cruel way to die but it also damages the car pretty well. So just in case check each time like I do before u go someplace.
